We begin with a thorough cleanse and apply a numbing cream, left on for around 20 to 30 minutes so the treatment stays comfortable. The device is then passed evenly over the face, and over the neck as well if that area is included. A full-face session takes about 30 to 45 minutes. You may feel a light prickling or vibration and some warmth. Afterwards the skin looks flushed, similar to mild sunburn.
Redness and a warm, tight feeling usually settle within 24 to 48 hours, sometimes with light flaking over a few days. A fresh glow appears within the first week, while the collagen-building results continue to develop over several weeks. Because the effect is cumulative, a course of three sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart is recommended for texture, pores, and scarring, followed by periodic maintenance.
