consultation
A consultation is an assessment and a conversation, not a treatment. You can book one on its own, ask everything you want to ask, and leave with a written quote and no appointment booked. Follow-ups are free.

01History and goals
We start with what you want to change and why, then your medical history, medications and any previous treatments. Some of what you tell us will rule options out, and that is the point of asking first.
02Assessment
An assessment of your face at rest and in movement, and of your skin itself. This is where we work out whether the concern you have named is best addressed where you think it is, which is often not the case.
03Options, in order
What we would recommend, what it would cost, how long it lasts, and what the alternatives are, including doing nothing. Where a treatment is not right for you, we say so and explain why.
04A written quote
You leave with a number, not an estimate that changes at the till. If the quote is not what you expected, you are free to decline it. We expect that sometimes and we do not press on the day.
What does not happen
You will not be treated on the day unless you have asked for it and we agree it is appropriate. You will not be quoted a price that changes afterwards. And you will not be recommended a treatment we would not have suggested had you not named it yourself. If a concern is better served by skincare, by time, or by a surgeon rather than by us, that is what we will tell you. We keep a public record of what we decline and why.
