Terms of service.

These terms apply between you and Silk Clinical Aesthetics, 66 Victoria Street, Christchurch Central, Christchurch, NZBN 9429050809622. They apply to appointments booked with us, treatments we provide, and gift vouchers purchased from us.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking is the one that applies to it.

Appointments can be made through our online booking system, by phone, or by email. A booking is confirmed once you receive confirmation from us or from our booking system.

A deposit is taken at the time of booking and credited against the cost of your appointment. The balance is settled on the day of your treatment.

Please arrive on time. If you arrive late we may need to shorten or reschedule your appointment so that the clients booked after you are not affected.

If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please tell us as early as you can so the time can be offered to someone else. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment forfeit the deposit, unless the appointment is rebooked at the time of cancelling, in which case the deposit carries over to the new booking. If you do not attend a booked appointment without notice, the full deposit is forfeited.

We may need to change or cancel an appointment ourselves, for example if a practitioner is unwell. If that happens we will contact you as soon as possible to rebook, and any deposit you have paid is carried over to the new appointment or refunded to you.

Every treatment plan is assessed before it is delivered. We take a medical history, discuss what is realistic, and obtain your informed consent before proceeding.

Cosmetic injectables such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal filler involve prescription medicines in New Zealand. A consultation with a prescriber, or under prescriber oversight, is required before any prescription medicine is supplied or administered, and a prescription cannot be issued without that assessment. Booking an appointment does not guarantee that a treatment will be prescribed or performed.

We may decline to treat, or recommend waiting, where treatment is not clinically appropriate for you. Where that happens we will explain why and discuss the alternatives.

You must be at least eighteen years old for any cosmetic injectable or device treatment at Silk Clinical Aesthetics. We may ask for photo identification at your first visit and can decline treatment if age cannot be confirmed.

Prices shown on this website and in the clinic are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Prices are indicative and are subject to review. The price that applies to your treatment is the price quoted to you at your consultation, which depends on the product used, the areas treated, and the amount required.

We accept major credit and debit cards, EFTPOS, and bank transfer for treatments booked in advance. Payment is taken at the end of your appointment unless a deposit was required at the time of booking, in which case the balance is settled on the day. We do not offer in-house payment plans.

Gift vouchers are purchased through our online voucher system, hosted by Fresha, and can be redeemed against any treatment or consultation.

• Vouchers are issued and redeemed subject to the terms shown at the time of purchase, including the expiry date shown on the voucher.
• Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash and are not reloadable.
• Where a treatment costs less than the voucher value, the balance stays on the voucher for future use. Where it costs more, the difference is payable on the day.
• Holding a voucher does not remove the consultation, consent, and age requirements in these terms. If a treatment is not clinically appropriate for you, the voucher can be used towards another treatment instead.
• Please treat a voucher like cash. We cannot replace vouchers that are lost or used by someone else.

Results vary between individuals. We will be honest with you about what a treatment can and cannot achieve, but we cannot guarantee a specific outcome, a specific duration, or that you will not experience side effects. Common effects such as redness, swelling, and bruising are discussed with you before treatment.

Following the aftercare advice you are given matters to your result and your safety. See our aftercare guidance, and contact the clinic promptly if anything concerns you after a treatment.

The content, images, and design of this website belong to Silk Clinical Aesthetics or our licensors. Please do not reproduce them without our written permission.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Personal injury cover in New Zealand is dealt with under the Accident Compensation Act 2001.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with a treatment is limited to the amount you paid us for it. This does not limit our liability for anything that cannot be limited by law.

If something goes wrong, tell us. We would rather review you early and put things right.

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
